@play started with a simple idea: make art accessible. In a city where catching a play often comes with a hefty price tag, and where creative spaces can sometimes feel out of reach. We saw an opportunity to do things differently.

We’re here to build culture from the ground up. To support homegrown talent. To create a space where live performance isn't reserved for flown-in acts or glitzy tours, but where local voices, stories, and communities take centre stage.

@play is a space for theatre, comedy, dance, spoken word, and everything in between. We host shows, workshops, and open mics, and we welcome artists at every stage of their journey. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned performer, we care less about credentials and more about curiosity, courage, and craft.

We're not trying to be the biggest, loudest, or flashiest. We’re trying to be the most open. A space that feels like yours.
