The @play theater offers a versatile event space with flexible capacity, accommodating intimate gatherings to large-scale events. Officially we seat 140 members in an audience but our flexible adaptable seating allows for a floating audience of 150 persons.
While we as a venue do not have a food stall of our own, we can put you in touch with F&B partners, and people who can help you with catering events. There is also a coffee shop a street away that offers home brewed coffee! A perfect way to spend an intermission or get your pre show caffeine!
@play is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, a premium audio amplification system, ample lighting fixtures, a green room, and a private space on the first floor. Enjoy a comfortable experience with full air conditioning for any event.

Frequently Asked Question
We are a DTCM licensed event venue provider. To put up a ticketed event at our space, you need to license your event with DTCM. We are more than happy to guide you through this process and enable your tickets to go live on platinumlist. Alternatively, you can also do this independently! If your event is free, this process does not apply!
We, as a venue provider, do not have a food stall. If you are booking us for a private event and wish to supply some food or beverages, we can definitely get you in touch with F&B partners who can help you with catering. We are also a lane away from Royal Simplicity, a fantastic coffee shop and roastery perfect for your guests during intermissions, lunch breaks, etc.
We do have someone who can help you navigate our light and sound consoles and assist in meeting your technical needs, but if you have more complex requirements, we suggest you hire an external technician.
Not at all! As long as you are in alignment with the UAE performance and content protocols, we are more than happy to have you at our space!

While we don't provide LED screens or projectors, we can connect you with trusted external vendors who can meet your requirements.
